What a year.
While speaking to a family member early this year I expressed feeling drained but not fulfilled. I wanted more while still being realistic. When I was asked what would make me fulfilled I joked when I said being paid to travel. Although I am nowhere near getting paid to travel (nor do I see or am seeking that out in my near future), but from that conversation I decided I wanted to start a blog. Blogging has made more feel more fulfilled in all aspects of my life. I love going on a trip with an idea in mind of what I would like to write about. In a way it is my own creative outlet that I never felt like I had before. Being able to come home and write about my travels is enough of a happy hobby for me that it makes me better in every area of my life, especially at my actual day job. It has given me that pep in my step that I needed for years. I currently have felt some writers block, not feeling like I have words to write about my experiences, but even in these times I take a step back and wait. Not making any of this add any pressure to my life. Blogging has become my therapy, making it stress me out seems counteractive.
I can't wait to take Moonlit Wing into it's second year, starting with a hell of a kick off at the Winter Olympics in South Korea. Thank you for reading and hope to see you in 2018.
Now for some 2017 highlights!
